It has been an important competition over this time in enhancing Local Authorities relationship with residents and businesses of the county.
Primarily a litter awareness competition to enhance the appearance of residential and business areas around the county similar to but separate from National Tidy Towns Competition. In attendance on the night was the Mayor of Fingal Cllr. Michael O'Donovan and PJ Howell, Director of Services. We owe a great deal of gratitude to those people who encourage the rest of us to take pride in our surroundings". PJ also remarked that "the standard this year is higher than ever before and is a continuing testament to the concern and pride Fingal businesses have for the environment in which we work and live".
Many community groups from throughout Fingal participated in this years event. This year there were a total of 331 entrants across all categories. The Facilities team here at Europa Academy take great pride in the appearance of their campus and were delighted with their achievement.
