Maryrose Lyons has been writing for the web since 1999 and has been blogging since 2003 when she set up her business, Brightspark Consulting.  She is one of the top 5 business bloggers in the country according to the Irish Blog Awards and Net Visionary's. She's also a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences - a global industry body driving creative, technical and professional progress of the internet and is Ireland's ambassador for the Webbys, the Oscars of the web world.

Prior to founding Brightspark, Maryrose worked on a variety of website and intranet projects in London, Sydney and Dublin.  Brightspark's role is to be on top of all the latest developments on the internet and to share that knowledge with clients to convert their business into a successful, sustainable, and cool online presence.
