Personnel managers, SME owners or all line managers responsible for implementing their organisations employment policies and procedures.
This 2 day course identifies with current Irish legislation and Regulations introduces methods for re-evaluating and implementing current HR policies taking necessary steps to keep inline and up to date with employment law.

Course Objectives
On successful completion of this course, participants will:
- Develop a greater awareness of their personal style in dealing with conflict
- Understand how their personal style impacts on the management of conflict
- Understand the role of conflict within group organisational life
- Develop an analytical framework for understanding and managing conflict in the workplace
- Develop the skills applicable to managing conflict in the workplace.
Course Structure
There are 6 core units in this course :
- Unit 1 The Regulatory Framework
- Unit 2 Contracts of Employment
- Unit 3 Discrimination
- Unit 4 Dismissal and Redundancy
- Unit 5 Health & Safety at Work
- Unit 6 Collective Employment Law
This programme will be delivered over a 2 day period
Awarding BODY
Following successful completion you will receive a FETAC Level 6 Minor Award in Employment Law (L32491).
The Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC) is the national awarding body for further education and training in Ireland. Europa Academy is registered with FETAC to offer programmes leading to FETAC awards in the National Framework of Qualifications in Ireland.
Fees
2 day programme - Total training fee €595 per person. Fee excludes FETAC assesement / verification fee of €25 per person for course certification.
