Pat Lyons MA, MBA, FCIPD
With over 25 years experience, Pat has a background in Human Resources, Marketing and Commercial Management, having worked at senior levels in Ford, New Holland and Renault. An experienced leadership development professional, Pat teaches Human Resource Management at the Irish Management Institute and he has worked with the Open University Business School. He is a fellow of the Centre for Leadership Studies at the University of Exeter, on whose behalf he facilitates international events in both Europe and Africa.
Mark Richardson
Mark has almost 20 years of experience in Sales in Ireland and the United Kingdom, and has worked in selling and management roles with leading automotive brands including Renault, Toyota, BMW, Rolls Royce and Porsche.
Mark's training career commenced with a period working with Dale Carnegie Training and since 1998 he has been Director of the Renault Training Institute, where he has designed and developed a ground-breaking training programme for novice car sales specialists, aimed at creating a new breed of professional car sales people.
Having trained candidates with backgrounds from Advertising to Business Equipment sales, Marks experience has taught him that the product is largely a means to an end and that critically, all sales people need to learn how to sell themselves first and foremost. He therefore places tremendous emphasis on teaching people the psychology of selling and the importance of being a skilled communicator.
Yvonne le Quément
Yvonne has over 22 years experience in sales and marketing in varied industry sectors. Commencing in the retail motor industry and motor distribution, Yvonne started her own business in 1988 working with clients on IT software packages. She has sat on many fundraising committees for the Irish Youth Foundation and has also presented new initiatives to their partners worldwide. Yvonne moved to France in 1999 where she continued her success in the marketing and business development department of an international law firm. Based in France, Yvonne is strategically placed to develop business and sales in the international market.
Ron Cella
Ron commenced his motor industry training in New York, before moving to Florida to advance his career in automotive retailing. While in Orlando, he helped design, build and manage one of the largest Ford after-sales operations in the United States and served as President of the Central Florida Parts and Service Association.
Ron has participated in numerous auto industry technical, management and leadership development programmes in North America. His involvement with Glencullen Distributors since 1998 has given him a pivotal role in all aspects of after-sales development including, the creation of expert technical training courses.
Cathy Comerford
Cathy has over 15 years experience in sales including 7 years as a highly successful Business manager with the Windsor Motor Group in Dublin. Cathy joined Europa Academy in September 2006, having qualified as a trainer through the Irish Institute of Training & Development and having achieved a certificate in Consumer Credit. Since then, she has trained Business Managers at all levels and has worked directly in supporting independent dealers, major motor groups and lending agencies, to achieve greater profit and success from Finance & Insurance (F&I) departments nationwide.
One of Cathy’s most popular programmes is the ‘Business Manager’ training programme which consistently achieves outstanding results. This eight day programme is IMI Accredited and CPD approved.
Cathy exudes an infectious enthusiasm for the sales profession and her experience and attention to detail, instils a passion, belief and drive in all her trainees.
